Spring!

Now that the snows of winter have finally assured us of their disappearance, and the rains (in buckets!) have taken their place, I am feeling that seasonal urge to paint flowers and new, young growing things. Reddish or greenish or pinkish tinges in the bare-branched trees bring awe and wonder at the renewal that nature unfailingly rolls out around and in us every year. The Cherry Blossom Festival in Vancouver celebrates that, as do many other venues. Hibernation is over! Time to come out into the West Coast fresh air, for those of us lucky enough to live or visit here. Sunshine, when it happens, gladdens every one of us. And here, a newborn website and my first blog post ever...
